At the entrance of the Library, students are required to show their Library tickets to the Porter on duty, who will check it to ensure that they are registered members of the Library and that their cards are current. Without the Library tickets, students will not be allowed into the Library.
Bags, umbrellas and other personal belongings must be dropped at the cloak.
Valuable items should however be removed from the bag before dropping at the cloak. The library will not be responsible for any loss of library users personal effect.
